Details of chains
If your chain is not listed, please let us have the following information and we will then let you know how much a new chain will cost.
1. Make and model of chainsaw (e.g. Make - Black and Decker. Model No. 325)
2. Length of chain needed (e.g. 14" if your bar is 14" etc.)
3. Number of drive links in your old chain (these are the triangle pointy bits that sit in the bar) You will probably have between 45 and 80 drive links, and will need to count them.
4. Let us know if there are any letters or numbers stamped or printed on your bar, and also on the chain links themselves. (e.g. 45 91VG)
You can either email or ring us with this information. Click on the 'contact us' page to email, or telephone on 01704 892384.
Alternatively, if you don't want to bother with the above details, just post your old chain to us and we will match it up for you. We have all the different types of chains on reels and make them up to size. We can also let you know at the same time if your old chain is suitable for our resharpening service (which is just £7.50 including returning it to you.)
