All Husqvarna axes are hand forged with high quality Swedish steel and feature a hickory shaft. Leather sheath included. Swedish steel is alloyed with silicon, magnesium and vanadium, which gives a superior tempering of the steel. The result are axes that are both strong and sharp. The shafts are made of American hickory, which brings the toughness and strength you can expect from an axe handle.
